We were wondering where those ears came from
Indy has pretty large ears, they are almost the same size as Kevin's ears now. Well we found the answer at the Badik Christmas when Great Grandpa Badik brought out pictures of Grandpa Badik! 
Luckily his Grandpa grew into those ears!

'Twas the night before Christmas
A Christmas tradition at Kevin's family home is to read The Night Before Christmas as a family on Christmas Eve. We all sit around and listen to Mike read before bed and it is a tradition we will continue in our home with Indy. I am glad Indiana's first Christmas he got to hear the story from Grandpa
...even if he was sleeping!

Future buddies
We went for to Piqua, Ohio for a visit with Kevin's college buddies and old roommates. Each couple had a baby this year. The Mcgraw's had Reid in August, the Shoup's had Max in September, and Indy was an October baby. We are one behind so Lane and Parker were also running around! It was an awesome day and all the babies were passed around equally among all moms and dads alike.

Thanksgiving
It was a good year. Indy was pretty good and I got made fun of for bringing half our house. Michael, Rahcel, and the kids came over the hill and celebrated the holiday with us. We played fun games including Mau...the game where you don't talk about the game and the classic yahtzee.
Miranda with Cora- Cora kept climbing in the chair with the girls and they were so patient with her wanting to be a big girl.

The game of Mau? The only rule to the game is you do not talk about the game of mau therefore you have to figure out how to play by just playing. It was pretty funny to watch especially when a rule came up that made people have to say WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY...and another player has to sing to you what the fox says! He keeps saying that he knows everything because he is a doctor now. Yeah right!
Kevin was the first Graduate to go.
Getting his hood, a second before and a second after and we would have seen his face but of course the camera decided to say busy forever during that one moment!
