Indy doing some shopping

We went to go buy some shoes and Indy was mister independent at the store.  He was crawling all over and looking through clothes like a shopper.  He held onto the shoes he picked out the whole time.

Bite number two

Indy only bites me.  No problems at daycare or with Kevin yet.  I guess that is good...

Just a little bruise but come on!!

Figs at the farmers market

Indy and I go to the farmers market every Saturday.  He loves all the samples and people love watching such a small baby eat just about everything.  We had blackberries, figs, and cherry tomatoes for the first time.  He loved the figs!

Indy started biting.  He bit me three times tonight.  Finally I bit him back.  He was a little stunned and cried but of course he was over it in two seconds but I was left with the four little marks.  I am nervous for the kids at daycare.

Sleepover at Grandpa's

Just waking up somewhere new...feeling a little confused.

Indy slept like a rock after the sushi party.  He woke up pretty happy once he figured out where he was and proceeded to crawl on my face.

We went downstairs and he was able to push the stroller by himself without any assistance.  

Grandpa usually makes me nervous but today I was all about him.  He finally went to my dad and let him pick him up and they went to feed the bluebird together. 

We had a great day and finished with a visit to Grammy and Ginny's.  

I am sad this is blurry.

Spill at daycare

I got the dreaded call at work from Daycare today.  She said he hurt himself outside and I jumped up and went in the hall to hear better with panic in my voice. She said he fell and hit his head and I asked if we needed to pick him up or take him to the hospital.  She said no, there are just some scrapes on his head. I pictured his entire head scraped up.  I showed up and laughed.

He is a rough and tumble boy.  He is covered in scrapes and bruises.  This is a no problem type of wound, but the call is still nice even if it scared the life out of me.

Happy birthday daddy

We went to Sushi for Kevin's birthday with 15 friends and family.  We did the Teppanyaki grill so the kids would be entertained and they were enthralled.

Indy was slack jawed the whole time!

I was really proud of Indy.  He ate calamari, shrimp, sushi, all his veggies, chicken and beef, and udon noodles.  The kid put it away!

We then went to my dads so Kevin could have a free night out and actually sleep in.

Day at the beach

Indy had his first day at the beach in Tahoe.  He fell asleep on the car ride up and was a blast once we arrived.  I brought his little tent and he played so well by himself.  When everyone showed up he was such a ham.  He has been getting a little stranger danger so he has been a little shy lately but not today!

Overall a good day!  Why the beach really takes it out of me mom.

Someone is using a fork...

Well sort of.  Indy tried to use a fork tonight and not just to bang it on the high chair.  He also supposedly waves today at daycare but I didn't see it.

Look at that tongue.  He has been doing this whenever he concentrates lately.

He missed and the food fell on his belly but it was a good first try.
