Happy valentine's day

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  We exchanged simple valentines which consisted mostly of chocolate.  Indy also got a few small cars and a mini bowling set.  We went on a nice hike with the dogs.  We weren't sure where we were headed and we missed the trailhead turnoff.  We got to a dead end with a sign that said only 18 and older and realized we drove to a brothel.  That was NOT the kind of Valentine we were looking for especially with a one year old aboard.  We turned around and found the trail and had a lovely time.  Indy said bird or what sounds more like bur.
The best part was the end when Indy got free reign of the car and he thought that was awesome!

Domestic man number 2

We had to hide the toilet bowl cleaner from Indy.  He was making a mess and I had to wash his hands every two seconds but our toilet is really clean.

Jeopardy

Kevin really enjoys watching Jeopardy but we really tried to not watch television while Indy was awake.  We figured now that he is getting older a little T.V. Won't hurt.  He pulls out his bean bag or blanket and lounges.
Like father like son

Exercising

Kevin had gotten back from a run and was trying to do push-ups.  Indy decided he needed to provide some resistance.
Mind your head dad.

Bugs

Indy saw his first bug this weekend.  It was a little black beetle and he was fascinated.  He kept screeching and trying to poke it.  He was too timid to actually touch it so he was grabbing our hand and trying to make us touch it.
Here is the video.

Tortilla holder head

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44vGDwOD-V4

We were just hanging out at home and Indy went into the kitchen alone.  Kevin and I called from the living room to ask what he was doing and he came out wearing the tortilla holder.  He was bumping into things and giggling and it was so funny I could barely film it I was laughing so hard.

Being daddy

Indy went as his daddy today.  He adores his daddy and wants to be just like him!

Itsy Bitsy

Every night after story time we sing songs as a family before bed.  Usually we start with Itst bitsy and Indy has begun doing the hand gestures.  He came out today and picked up a book, sat on his chair, and began doing the hand gestures for Itsy Bitsy.  I was so proud.
That is the sun coming out.
And there is the slide.  It is so cute!  Love that kid!

Play ball

We brought out Indy's tee ball set and he was really having a great time, even if he hits the ball with the wrong side of the bat.
Daddy showing him what to do.
Well- it gets the job done, I guess!

My little chef

Yep, that's my boy!

Enough said!

Riding things

Indy likes to sit on anything with wheels hoping we will push him around.  He keeps trying to sit on his lawnmower and it tips over backward and he gets so frustrated.
He did really well robing his bike this weekend.  He is almost able to do it on his own.  He needs a little help with balancing but he has steering and keeping his balance on the bike.
