I took the Easter stuff out to prep for our
trip and left it too visible. Indy discovered the eggs and was so excited to play with them. He also discovered the other goodies but I got there fast enough to grab it and hide it.

Not cake
Indy has never been a fan of cake but our friends made a cake from scratch and it was delicious. Indy was pretty into it and had a great time wishing Hazel a happy birthday.
Indy discovers iPod
I used to try to get Indy to put earbuds in and he hated it. He found the iPod on the floor and actually attempted to put the earbuds in. He then listened to a book for a while.

I am batman
Indy has been copying us a lot and saying more words everyday. Recently, he said all done, bird, duck, boo (he now likes hiding and giggling then popping out and saying boo), moo, please, move (he pushes the dogs butts especially if they are on the couch where he wants to sit and yells mooove!), and billy billy (which he thinks the belly button is called). Kevin says, "I am batman," in the Christian Bale voice. Indy will get a deep rumbling voice and say, "dada." Cracks me up! We keep trying to get it on video but no luck so far.
Sick AGAIN
We made it nine days without being sick this time. Last time was two weeks. I am exhausted from being sick especially since Indy doesn't sleep well which makes it difficult to heal.
First slurpee
Yep, I let him have a slurpee...but to be fair it was free from the guy at 7-11. The clerk was so excited to see Indy's face when he tried it. His first sip he flinched and made a sour face then immediately wanted more. Then after a while if I tried to share and take a sip he would yell at me. This face said it all.

At the park
Indy and I went to the park today and had a picnic. He was such a big boy and went up a climbing toy and down the swirl slide alone. I was proud of him until he pushed past a girl going down the slide to go first...oops.
Baking for daddy
We baked a homemade cake for Kevin's return. Indy helped by taking flour from one container and putting it in a mixing bowl then pouring that onto his legs. At lead the helped me mop afterward!
Donuts!
Kevin was out of town for two weeks and we were on our own for grocery shopping. We were at the grocery store for an hour and a half and then Costco. He was rewarded with some powdered donuts. It was worth every penny. Indy was so excited to get a treat and the mess was so funny.
