Juniper Rhys

Well, we got confirmation that it is a girl.  I will post the video soon.  We are probably going to name her Juniper Rhys Badik.  There is already a lot of nicknames being thrown out.  Juno, Juni, junebug, berry, June, which is the only one I don't like.  Here she is.

Fireman Indy

Kevin and Indy went out to play frisbee golf on Sunday and stopped at the grocery store on the way home.  There were some firemen buying groceries and Indy got so excited yelling  "guck" which is what he calls trucks that they let him go on the fire truck and gave him a badge sticker and hat.  We had to listen to the fire truck song a lot that afternoon.
He looks like a real firman with all that coco puff chocolate on his face.  Looks like he is covered in soot!

Summer head shaving

So recently we had a traumatic head shaving experience when I didn't realize the clippers had no attachment and buzzed most of Kevin's hair off!
Oops!  I laughed at first then I cried!  Kevin went to the barber and they asked, "what are we doing today?"  He just removed his hat and said, "anything you can."  I thought Indy might be traumatized by the whole experience from watching us but he was a champ about his haircut on Sunday.  He watched daddy trim his beard and started patting his head for his turn.  We plopped him on the counter and he sat there stoically while daddy clipped away.
He is such a champ and he looks so handsome and grown up with his buzz cut!

Siblings

Look familiar!  This is both my children in the womb at 6 months.  Indy is on the left and Juniper (maybe- I am feeling a little apprehensive of the name lately) is on the right.  They look pretty similar, big lips, big eyes, and big ears!  But she has a little different nose.  We will see...I wonder if she will be fair or dark like me.  13 weeks and we should know!

Take me out to the ballgame

He was really hitting the ball well.  Normally he tries to hold the bat with only one hand but he was perfecting his form.  He would hold a pose after each hit.
The national anthem
And the most important part of any ballgame, rolling down the grass seating are.

Baseball weekend!

We did a lot of baseball activities this weekend.  Indy is really into his ball and mitt lately.  He calls it baball.  He sleeps with 5 small plastic construction trucks every night and wakes up saying truck most days.  Last night he asked to sleep with his baseball and woke up saying baball.
Playing morning catch in our pj's.
He makes some great faces while catching and throwing.
He has quite an arm on him.

Food truck Friday

We have not done many fun things this summer while saving for the house.  With the move and everything we haven't been out much so we are trying to get a few fun things in before summer is over.

All boy

Indy loves helping Kevin with projects around the house.  We are breaking down the patio table and chairs to get rid of them.  He uses the screw driver pretty well and we left one chair together for him to work on.

Fire trucks

Since Indy has recently discovered his love of all things trucks, he saw a fire truck driving by at daycare the other day. He kept waving so they pulled over and gave him a sticker and honked the horn. He was so excited.
Made his day and mine when I got these, love that boy!

Popsicles!

Indy has discovered Popsicles!  He calls them cocols and ask for them all day.

Family reunion

The big family reunion we went to was a little rough.  Kevin could only come for a short time and Indy got sick.  We spent a lot of time alone in the vacation house but there was some fun moments.
Beach time with the kids
Bubble machine
Nap time
Being sick
Brunch goofball
Paddle boating.

I have better picture on my camera but I have to download them.

Daddy nap

Daddy was putting Indy down for a nap and they were resting on the couch together before hand.  I think Indy was maybe putting Daddy down for a nap.

Reading books is getting interesting

Indy really likes a construction book and a big daddy truck book Kevin's parent's sent.  Now that is all he will read and we have to get all the trucks that match.  He now calls his green recycle truck, the dada truck.  He really likes excavators or diggers, too but luckily he doesn't have one yet since I don't think anything else can fit on Kevin's lap!
