First camping trip

We took Indy on his first camping trip.  

We only did a local overnighter just in case but he did great.  The first hour or two he took a digger into the rocks and dirt.  He got a cut on his chin and some scraps on his face but he pulled through with minimal crying.  I almost had a heart attack but all was well.  

Notice the dirt on his shirt...what you don't see is the dirt in his nose and mouth.

His first sleeping bag, he just slept on top of it but it was too cute to pass up.

I love waking up in the tent with mommy and daddy...and the two dogs!  It was comfy, at least this time I didn't have to sleep on the ground while Zep got the air mattress.

Of course we were up nice and early so we took a morning hike to the reservoir.

My cousins and friends!  Indy loved Dustin's girlfriend Sabrina and my Aunt Peg.  It was nice to have women to pass him around to.

I finally got to use the kayak but it was short lived.  Odin wouldn't stop following me and we were worried for him and he wouldn't fit on the kayak.  So I turned in but I won't lie, I wasn't sad, my arms were already killing me!

Great trip and everyone was tuckered out!

Zep somehow squished his face in there and fell asleep.
